Our wish for our patients is to be able to say goodbye or celebrate special moments together in a homely atmosphere. Patients who are incurably ill and cannot or would rather not be moved have to stay in the hospital room. The mobile living room offers a way to give the typical hospital room a more homely and cozy atmosphere.

UMC Utrecht and Utrecht University are celebrating 385 years of science in Utrecht. On behalf of UMC Utrecht's Supportive and Palliative Care Consultation Team as well, we would like to use the proceeds from sales of Nurse Miffy in this anniversary year to purchase mobile living rooms for Wilhelmina Children's Hospital and UMC Utrecht.
